I've often found myself trapped in cycles, replaying the same scenarios with different faces. This happens when I think a trait or habit is just 'who I am,' and I'm powerless to change it.
A few years ago, I realized I was always drawn to jobs that left me feeling unfulfilled. It seemed like the universe was conspiring against me, but in truth, I was the common denominator. It wasn't fate; it was my fear of stepping out of my comfort zone.
Since then, I've started questioning my own 'truths.' What if I could challenge the narrative that says I'm not creative enough or not bold enough? The revelation is terrifying and liberating—it means change is possible, but only if I let go of the old storylines.
The Insight
We unknowingly script our lives with the same motifs because embracing change requires rewriting the very essence of who we believe we are.
